While it is technically possible to install this mount without the assistance of a Gunsmith, it is highly recommended that you seek the help of a professional to ensure proper installation. This plate converts the existing footprint to accommodate over 25 different popular red dot sights on the market, each with varying footprint and screw hole configurations.

Installation is straightforward - simply attach the adapter plate onto the existing rmr optic cut as you would a regular optic plate. The package includes screws that are compatible with over 25 popular red dot brands, although not every red dot available on the market.
